Redline is a beautiful racing game for Mac OS X by Ambrosia SW, and I spent numerous hours in it challenging my friends and people all over The Net. It has some built-in cars and tracks in free 30-day demo, but the real power unleashes only in the licensed version where you can install many new tracks, cars and weather environments.

Redline Alert 2.1.2 is an application that lets you monitor who is in the game. The distinctive feature is that it not only gives you the overview of who’s in the lobby and what games are currently running. It lets you enter the list of your friends’ names and will show it when they are online, so you don’t have to check the tracker window over and over. Currently the menu bar icon is the only alert, but I’ll be adding more (like Growl integration and sound effects) later. Check out the built-in application help for a quick start.
