I've been using Haml for about 6 months and it makes my life is easier. The only thing missing for me is a method of passing variables from rails in Sass. Best of all, Haml is already running faster than ERB outside of actionview. If that is the case in Haml 1.9, then there aren't many reasons left for not using it.

Yeah, their cascading and inheritance is simply the best, and help a lot to keep it logically structured. While constants extremely useful to have the numbers and colors explained.

Well I've started using it, and I must say that I am very impressed, I really needed a logical way of doing the CSS and Sass is certainly that.
